Bright Red Triangle (BRT) is Edinburgh Napier University's enterprise hub, providing free lifelong enterprise and entrepreneurial support to students, graduates, staff, and alumni of Edinburgh Napier University, Queen Margaret University, and Edinburgh College.
This support is also available to individuals engaging with the University through Bike Innovation Scotland, helping them develop enterprise skills, explore entrepreneurial opportunities, and turn ideas into sustainable ventures.

BRT Startup Studio – Free 24/7 Co-working Space
Located in Fountainbridge, Edinburgh, the BRT Startup Studio offers members free access to a dedicated enterprise and co-working space, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It provides a welcoming environment to collaborate, develop enterprise skills, connect with other entrepreneurs, and become part of Edinburgh's thriving innovation community.
Free Lifelong Business Support
BRT's experienced Enterprise Managers provide one-to-one advice, mentoring, and practical support tailored to your goals. Members can also access specialist expertise through Entrepreneurs in Residence, industry contacts, workshops, networking events, and partner organisations across Scotland's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
First Tracks and Sector-Specific Programmes
Working in partnership with Bike Innovation Scotland, Bright Red Triangle supports the delivery of First Tracks and other enterprise programmes designed specifically for the cycling, active travel, and outdoor sectors. These programmes help innovators develop ideas, build commercial skills, test opportunities, and connect with industry experts and potential collaborators.
